How to crop images for print

Resize your images with the correct aspect ratio to get perfect prints every time

Sometimes you need to make a print with a different aspect ratio to your original file. If you've ever ordered an 8x10 inch print from an online printing service without resizing your file first, you'll know how disappointing it can be to see that the ends of your lovely shot have been chopped off by an uncaring machine. This doesn't really need to be as the Crop tool in Photoshop can be used to prpare your digital photos for printing at traditional photo paper sizes. Watch this video to find out how it's done in less than 5 minutes.
