Create seamless panoramas

Add another dimension to your landscapes by stitching together multiple images to create a magnificent panorama

Before the advent of digital photography specialist panoramic cameras were used by photographers to capture a wide field of view without distortion. But the cameras were expensive and pretty complicated to use. Today, using digital technology, it's relatively easy to create your own stunning panoramas by shooting a number of images across the scene and then 'stitching' them together using photo-editing software, such as Photoshop.

I have used the technique with Photoshop CS3 and am really touched at the functionality of Elements 6. I always find writing actions a bit of a bother that I need to overcome and the multiple file or batch mode really looks so good here. I generally use Irfanview for all batch processing needs because of the speed and ease.
