Convert to black and white in Photoshop Elements

Striking black and white shots can be produced quickly and simply using Elements, learn how to master it in five minutes.

Elements makes it easy to create black and white images from your colour shots using the Convert to Black and White function. Also offering settings for different conversion styles, the tonal range of reds, greens and blues within the image can be altered in the same way a coloured filter on a lens might work. Black and white images look even better with adjustments made to the contrast, but using the Levels window shadows and highlights can be adjusted keeping eye-catching shapes and textures within your monochrome pictures intact.
