This is a genuine infrared (IR) image which was taken with a modified Nikon D70. It was adapted by Advanced Camera Systems (www.advancedcameraservices.co.uk/).
The original IR raw file from the camera looked very red, so I swapped the blue and red channels in Photoshop and made some tweaks to the tones and colours.
Deep blue skies and lots of foliage are great subjects for infrared. This scene was taken in the gardens of Stourhead, Wiltshire
