I'm the Technique Editor at Digital Camera Magazine, based it Bath. Before joining the mag I was a full-time Press and Sports photographer for more than 12 years. Everyday was completely different.. from covering village fetes and local cheque presentations one day... to shooting a Premiership football match and a Royal visit on another!

As Technique Editor I am responsible for arranging a reader day once a month where I take a DCAM reader out for a day and shoot a subject that they would like to learn more about. I also do features on general techniques and subjects to photograph. I'm always happy to hear from readers about possible features.

I love shooting portraits and trying to always create an original image.... which isn't easy! And because of my newspaper background I find reportage photography very interesting... depending on the subject of course!
