New Spring 2010 range of Fuji Cameras

World’s first 30x optical zoom among flurry of new compacts and bridge cameras from Fujifilm.

Fujifilm have announced the Spring lineup of their new camera ranges. New products include the world’s first 30x optical zoom with manual zoom mechanism bridge camera, a 10x zoom ulra compact, touchscreen, inbuilt social media upload facilities and slim compacts.

Fujifilm HS10 Superzoom bridge

The HS10 is pitched as the ‘all in one’ photographer’s camera, complete with powerful 30x optical zoom, manual zoom mechanism, full HD movie capture and a 10 Megapixel Back Side Illumination CMOS sensor. 10fps continuous shooting, motion tracking autofocus, and the ability to shoot in RAW are also included.

The F80 EXR, the successor to last year’s long range compact, the F70EXR, features a large 10x optical zoom in a compact body. Also on this model are the F80 is a 12 Megapixel Super CCD EXR sensor, 720p high definition video capture and a large high contrast LCD screen.

Successor to the Z35, the Z70 is designed with the fashion conscious in mind, but also features a 12 Megapixel resolution, 5x optical zoom lens and a YouTube/Facebook easy web upload facility, allowing users to put their images and videos straight on to social networking sites.

Featuring touch screen technology, the Z700EXR, contains a Fujinon 5x zoom lens, 12 Megapixel resolution, 720p HD image capture, ISO to 3200 at full resolution and Dual Image Stabilisation.

Shockproof, waterproof, freezeproof and dustproof, the XP10 is the latest all weather, all terrain camera. Also featuring 12 Megapixel resolution, 5x Fujinon lens and HD Movie recording, the XP10 is waterproof to 3 metres, shockproof to 1 metre, freezeproof to minus 10°C and dustproof too.

A new range of S-series bridge cameras include 15 or 18x Fujinon lenses, dual image stabilised CCD sensors, high resolution LCD screens and electronic viewfinders. The latest S models also now capture HD videos and HD stills.

The JZ series of long-zoom compacts, the cameras are only 23mm thin but accommodate a large 10x optical zoom lens along with advanced CCD-shift image stabilisation HD capabilities.

Meanwhile, the JV and JX cameras are even slimmer at just 18.9mm and feature a 5x/3x optical zoom lens and digital image stabilisation.

Finally, the A range of entry-level cameras offer point and shoot simplicity, but also feature 3 or 5x optical zoom, 12/14 Megapixel resolution and HD capabilities.
